1) Overview
These Terms of Service govern your use of the myAnchor website and applications. By accessing or using myAnchor you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use myAnchor.
2) Eligibility and accounts
  • You must be at least 13. If you are 13 to 17, a parent or guardian must review and accept these Terms.
  • You are responsible for your account, your credentials, and all activity under your account.
3) Your content
  • myAnchor lets you add calendar entries, locations, notes, family names, birthdays, and similar data or files (collectively, User Content).
  • You own your User Content.
  • You grant myAnchor a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, transmit, display, and modify your User Content as needed to provide and maintain the service.
  • You promise you have all rights and permissions to submit your User Content, including consent for information about other people.
4) Family features and minors
myAnchor supports family calendars and countdowns that may include minors. You are responsible for obtaining any required consents and for managing this information lawfully and respectfully.
5) Location, directions, and travel time
  • myAnchor may use device location, addresses, map deep links, and estimated travel times.
  • Location and directions are optional and controlled by your device settings.
  • Routes and times are estimates only. Traffic, construction, weather, and device limits can affect results.
  • Do not interact with myAnchor while driving. You are responsible for obeying all laws and using your judgment.
6) Notifications and reminders
myAnchor may send push or browser notifications, including leave-by reminders. Delivery, timing, and accuracy are not guaranteed. You remain responsible for your schedule.
7) Third-party services
  • myAnchor may integrate with or link to third parties such as Google Maps, Apple Maps, Android intents, geocoding, cloud hosting, and notification providers.
  • Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
  • myAnchor does not control or guarantee third-party content, availability, or accuracy.
8) Acceptable use
You agree not to:
  • Break the law, infringe rights, or violate privacy.
  • Upload malware, attempt to bypass security, or disrupt myAnchor.
  • Harass, stalk, or track anyone without consent.
  • Misuse location, directions, or notifications in safety-sensitive situations.
  • myAnchor may investigate violations and may remove content or restrict access.
9) Intellectual property
  • myAnchor, its software, and all related content are owned by the company and its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use myAnchor for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or sell any part of myAnchor.
  • Feedback is welcome. If you provide ideas or suggestions, you grant myAnchor a free, perpetual license to use them.
10) Data, storage, and retention
myAnchor may store data locally on your device and in cloud services. Storage limits and retention periods may apply. Backups are not guaranteed. See the Privacy Policy for details on collection and retention.
11) Changes to myAnchor
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time. We try to keep the experience reliable and forward looking, but uninterrupted or error free operation is not guaranteed.
12) Paid features [if applicable]
If myAnchor offers paid plans or in-app purchases, the following apply: pricing, billing cycle, renewal, cancellation, refunds, trials, and taxes will be described at purchase. Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable.
13) Disclaimers
myAnchor is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. myAnchor does not warrant that directions, times, notifications, or any User Content are accurate, complete, or continuously available.
14) Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law:
  • myAnchor is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, goodwill, or reputation.
  • myAnchor’s total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of 50 USD or the amount you paid to myAnchor in the 12 months before the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits. In those places, our liability will be limited to the maximum allowed by law.
15) Indemnification
You will defend and hold myAnchor and its affiliates harmless from claims, damages, losses, and costs, including reasonable legal fees, that arise from your User Content, your use of myAnchor, or your violation of these Terms.
16) Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [State or Country], without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
17) Dispute resolution
